I’ve had a very positive experience with Apex Neurologist when it comes to the medical care itself. The doctor is knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to listen, which really makes a difference. I felt well cared for and confident in the treatment I received.
That said, the front desk experience could really use some improvement. The receptionist often comes across as unfriendly, unapproachable, and always looks angry, which makes visits feel uncomfortable from the moment you walk in. As patients, we’re coming in to be cared for, often not feeling our best, and it’s important to be treated with kindness and respect.

Very disappointed, doctors are nice but the customer service is awful. Appointment that was scheduled two weeks by me was never recorded, so I lost my time making it to the office. No apology was offered. Rescheduled, on time for my next appointment, office is packed no place to sit, front desk doesn’t even look at you. Just a suggestion, please schedule accordingly, be on a top of the schedule and respect people’s time
GET OFF OF ZOCDOC!!!! I made an appointment on zocdoc for 2:45pm. I drove to a hotel from Staten Island the night before because my neurological issue makes it very hard for me to drive during the day. The office called me 3 hours before my appointment, while I’m sitting in a hotel, to tell me they have no more room and I had to reschedule. I just spent $150 on a hotel room and $40 on hotel parking and now I have to drive all the way back to Staten Island in the most uncomfortable and dangerous situation for me because I have to leave the hotel. It seems like the office gobbles up the zocdoc appointments and then figures it out later. ZERO help from the person on the...read full review
