I’ve been here a couple times and had a great experience. I usually only get some form of braids, which are always affordable in price. No appointments needed but it’s always best to show up earlier to avoid a long wait time. They braid pretty fast, often with multiple braiders working on your hair. I can’t complain
Wow!!!!! Everyone in this shop is exceptional! I have not once walked out disappointed! The owner is super kind and sweet! Each time I had a different person do my hair and each time is was perfect! Just what I wanted! And they were so quick! Wow!!
It is a professional environment, but cultural aspects may be off-putting if you're not accustomed - things like tone, attitude, and just general presentation to new clients. For example, when I walk into an establishment I like to be greeted and welcomed. Here I didn't know who to address upon entering and wound up having to explain my braiding needs twice, the first time apparently was to the wrong person who happened to give me eye contact and a smile. The ladies here are pleasant and do good work. They are also fast, which I love. If you need to, don't hesitate to remind them not to braid too tightly. Or, that an area they have already braided feels too tight. It's your money and your follicles! Ouch. Price was moderate for today's economy. They charged me $65 to blow thick, 4c, 4" hair straight and braid about 20 small cornrows going up into a ponytail.
