True Care Home Care provides individualized, professional care to clients in the New York metropolitan region and Westchester County. Since 2009, the agency has been delivering personalized care to families, including in-home assistance, specialized Alzheimer's and dementia care, home infusion therapy, hospice and palliative care, and the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program. Clients praise the agency's orientation process, led by friendly and patient instructors, who explain everything in detail, including what to expect and agency policies. The food provided is also excellent, and employees are treated with kindness.
This is an appreciation of Sunny Munoz of True Care at Brookdale Battery Park City in New York City. Rarely has someone lived up to their name as Sunny did. As the "engagement specialist", she helped my mother connect to others and perhaps most importantly they connected to each other. Sunny sees the best in people and she got to know my mother in a way few others did during her last year. It gave me great comfort to know that my mother was among friends. Sunny is a treasure.
I was very impressed with True Care during the years we worked with them. And I was especially impressed by the engagement specialist we hired, Sunny Munoz. Sunny was extremely responsive to the needs of my Mom and all of our family, and actually went above and beyond what we could have expected. Sunny utilized a number of ways to support my mother, to engage her in creative activities. She was able to deal with a numer of challenging situations. Most importrant, she was recognized my mother as an individual, and responded at that level. Sunny absolutely lived up to her name!
