The back soles of my shoes were getting worn out so I took them to Roman Shoe Repair. They charged me $50 to put new heel soles on and sew a ripped strap. I did question the price as far as--would another shoe repair in the area charge the same amount or less? However, when I got the shoes back I was very happy with the work. The new heel soles were seamless, meaning no distinction between the part that was added and the original sole. He also glued some of the rubber back onto the leather that was loose, and polished the shoes. So maybe the price was fair; I don't really know how much this service costs in general. Owner Roman and his wife repaired a paired a pair of my Somewhat new shoes which was which Was unexpectedly losing several stitches and saved Me from having to purchase a new pair of shoes Unexpectedly soon.

Came here to alter my backpacks and sling bags. They did a great job on replacing the plastic buckles with the AustriaAlpine Cobra buckles I brought in. They also fixed a seam coming out of one my Mission Workshop Integer Backpack. They do shoes and bags. In business almost almost 30 years. Good people. Support local small business.
