I was disappointed with my experience. My calls were not returned promptly, and I felt pressured to pay additional fees because the matter was considered “too old,” even though the records in question dated from 2021. I was then told that nothing could be changed after six years, despite only five years having passed. I was also informed that the name on the account could not be updated to reflect the person who actually paid the expenses, even though it is common for a grieving family member to begin arrangements on behalf of others. Just lost a family member and we used Ortiz funeral home. I recommend their services. Staff is knowledgeable, professional and followed our instructions to the letter. In addition place is well maintained and organized. This is the second time in 6 years we have had to use their services and both times service was extremely good. We really appreciate the service tended to us.
Honestly, seeing the reviews almost scares you away from arranging the funeral here. But, the lady allowed us to stay an hour even after our services. No fee. The lady was understanding and compassionate. She did amazing at her job. Would recommend 10/10
