The store is newly renovated. They made really good use of the space. Staff is friendly and attentive. The ambience is really cool. They played really nice music and I felt pretty comfortable. I went in to get braids w/ Franchel. She did an excellent job. My family and friends loved her job and I’m getting lots of compliments about my braids. My husband is also a regular customer and he loves Michael’s job.
Definitely coming back for more braids in the future.
I’ve been to many barber shops in the Bronx and this Cesar’s is definitely up there. The prices are fair and the service is great. Another plus is the barbers speak both English and Spanish 💯
My barber in Manhattan retired, and I found the shop from the reviews. It's a good, solid, neighborhood shop.
Differences between my old barber and the current - this place is much more accustomed to using clippers, until now, my barbers (I have fine, thinning hair) mostly worked with scissors. There's a subtle difference in result, but it's not worse.
The barber was polite and meticulous; really interested in giving me what I wanted and he took his time on details of the trim. I don't think any barber (or tailor) gives a perfect haircut on the first shot unless you've explained it down to the last detail or they're psychic. He did a good, careful job...read full review
