About Elite Nails & Spa
Elite Nails & Spa is a salon located in Parkchester that offers a range of nail services. Customers have expressed mixed feelings about their experiences, particularly regarding the quality of service, which seems to vary based on the technician. Many have praised technicians like Lorena, Maria, Denis, and particularly Lydia for their skill and attention to detail. However, some have voiced concerns about the management, specifically Marcelo, who has been described as difficult and dismissive. Customers noted instances of poor customer service and inconsistencies in pricing and service quality. While some clients left satisfied with their nails, others experienced issues such as chipped polish shortly after their visit. Overall, Elite Nails & Spa is considered decent and worth a visit, but customers recommend being selective about which technician to choose for the best results.
The technicians are awesome, especially Lorena, Maria and Denis…. But the boss Marcelo is difficult at times…. He didn’t allow Maria to use the same color on my feet because it’s a “new” color…. So why was it allowed to be used on my fingernails last week? I am NOT happy with his customer service today!!! Not feeling valued as a customer that’s been coming here for more than 10 yrs!!!
So I've been here twice and my overall take has been that the quality of the service you receive varies based on who you actually get your nails done by (as is the case with wherever you go lol). However, in general this place is decent and worth the visit compared to the other nearby salons in Parkchester. The first time I came here was back in February and my most recent visit was two weeks ago. Both times I've been here, I had acrylics done at another salon. So I had to get them soaked off first. The first time I came here I went for a small simple French tip look with acrylics. I don't recall who did my nails but she wasn't around the second time I came by (she must have had the day off). But the first time I came here, my nail stylist did such a wonderful job, she was so meticulous and careful with my nails. Please see the picture below of the French. I got so many compliments for the nails. The second and most recent time I came here, I opted for a simple red gel on my natural nails. The person who did my nails was not nearly as detailed or careful, she nicked my cuticles twice. But the nails did come out great immediately after she was done. However, I have to admit not even 3 days later my nails did chip and break (on 3 fingers) but it's okay. For the price I paid, it's not a big deal at all. If I still lived in NYC, I would most definitely be coming here regularly but only in the condition I see and scout out my go to person to take care of me. If you come here for a walk in, it's going to be a hit or miss depending on how busy the salon is.
Lydia is amazing, beautiful nails and great communication. The manager at this location is dismissive and rude. Charged $40 for my sister's nails below. I understand that it's a manicure, but if an artist cannot do a design with short nails add length. Also, we asked for tips on her nails and the manager got very defensive and insisted that we "only asked for a manicure". This was a lie. Keep business professional and don't lie to your customers. You also don't charge $40 for dots. The pink nails with charms were done by Lydia and I would 100% book her outside of this place.
