Went in for a cut and color they were very rough when washing and coloring my hair.They was pulling super hard kept pushing and pulling my head to move me up and down instead of asking.Then they never told me that they only accept cash prior to me asking for appointment when I got to the salon then I saw small sign that stated “no credit card only cash”.They also talked about me in Spanish and didn’t speak in English the whole experience was awkward due to them not communicating with English speaking clients.After my cut and color was finished my hair felt super dry and super damaged.

I never wrote a review but stay clearrrrr from this place. I hadn’t relaxed my hair in over three years. Trusting them, I didn’t pay attention to which brand of relaxer she was using. Weeks later my hair was coming out in huge clumps to the point I couldn’t even comb it. So I went back explaining to them what was happening. I asked her what brand of relaxer she used on my hair, “mommy you lot hair. I put dis.” SHE ADDED A TEXTURIZER TO MY RELAXER!!!!!!! I wanted to cry. Noticing I was visibly upset, she told me to sit in her chair. “Mommy, I fix for you.” She wanted to touch up my hair after all that breakage. 😔. I went from having hair past my shoulders to now having to cut it all off and starting over. She told me she’s been in business for over 20 years and no one has ever complained. After my experience, I find that hard to believe. I wouldn’t trust them to shampoo my dog!!!

I wish i could give this place -5 stars. I've never written a review before, but my experience here was so disturbing that i had to. Terrible service. Terrible employees. Even if they can't do what you asked for, they would still say that they can. I showed them pictures and videos, and they said they could do it. News flash, she couldn't. It was a terrible disaster. If they couldn't understand something, they should have said so and just denied service, i would have gladly gone somewhere else. They messed up my hair by doing a terrible job. Not only was the end result terrible, but the person who did my hair was extremely rude (yelling) and disrespectful. Overall, i hated my hair and hated the service.

I went to this salon three weeks ago because it was highly recommended by a coworker and i needed a wash and set. Unfortunately she was wrong about them being able to do 4c hair properly. If you care at all about your curls DO NOT go here. They basically destroyed my curls, which is crazy because I gave them my own shampoo and conditioner which clearly isn't the only thing they used. Most of my curls are now straight as if a chemical was placed in them, and my hair still smells like whatever garbage they snuck in it. It smells like an old perm and if I knew specifically what was put in my hair, i'd pursue legal action. I've never had this issue with the products i use on my hair before, nor have I ever had my curls destroyed by a wash and set. This was definitely a one time only mistake, now I have to do more work to get my hair back to the way it was. Avoid them at all costs if you have natural hair

Mother Salon & Sons Barbershop. I have been getting my hair done in this barbershop for over 10 years. I moved out of this area years ago, but I still travel there just to get my hair cut. Ask for Anthony.
