My partner and I was at the home inspector with Ray. He was very detailed and helped us every step of the way. He was able to answer every question we threw at him, and he didn't care if it was stupid. He was respectful to us who didn't know much about the home buying process. He was open minded and you can tell this guy has helped many people of different backgrounds. He was so comfortable to talk to. I can't say anything negative about this guy. Ray is just one of the most genuine people you'll meet in this business.
I did a crazy thing. I used the seller's agent to hire Ray from Meticulous Home Inspection. I trusted the agent very much, so it wasn't a big problem. However, Ray pulled me aside to tell me that buyers should use their own home inspector, but that he only works for ME and not the seller. If it were a different inspector, they may not inspect as thoroughly. THAT was how honest he was. We then spent a little over a whopping 3 hours on inspecting the home. Ray noticed every little thing, took out the ruler and measured everything, and spotted even the smallest of details. I am really grateful for the guy. He stood in the blistering sun, got rained on, and he insisted on turning the shower and got himself all wet. You can tell when someone is genuine. He is one of the few people that I have met, who is passionate about what they do. I will never use another inspector other than Ray. He is going in my phone book, and I will be referring all my family and friends to him. He does have 1 downside though: he has silly, corny jokes. If you can keep up with his banter, those hours you spend with him will be a riot! "DON'T BE RIDICULOUS.. CALL METICULOUS!!!"
Ray walked us through the whole house, top to bottom, from big to small details. His knowledge on all aspects of home improvement really amazed me. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a home inspection! A great passionate guy with a great sense of humor. I now have a piece of mind knowing the property i will buy one day has been approved by the best. cant say it enough, thankyou!
