It used to be good, Ive gone here throughout my life for years. I had to take the Joutney project which was nice. Unfortunately after my grandmother died I didn't become the best at managing my own medication, and after missing a appointment to keep them I was discharged from medication services. I get why, but it is wrong to make it so impossible and NOT reach out to make it even REMOTELY POSSIBLE to get back on meds. I have PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Autism.

Where do I begin?.... How about by getting on the bus and NOT missing my appointment?! MORE TO COME!!! They're soooooo good though especially Melissa and Hawley!! Front desk crew are super nice and non-judgemental. Lotta new clinicians!

My therapist is rude and immature. She tries to have power and control over me. She is irritating

Forgot to review when I initially stopped being a client so this is a year or two late. I had to change therapists multiple times and was disappointed every single time. I was very up front that I was only interested in seeing a therapist that could schedule me weekly. She told me she absolutely had room in her schedule for that in abt 2 months and until then we could do every other week, that was the only reason I agrees to see her. Not only was she at least 10 minutes late to every session, she wouldn't schedule me for weeks at a time after a couple months and practically ghosted me. This was all at a time when I was homeless and in housing program for youth. Great timing, Nora.
That was my final straw. And btw this wasnt my only bad experience. Before Nora I was being mistreated by an older woman working there as a therapist that gave me the silent treatment every session after I explained I needed prompting.
This place is a stepping stone for inexperienced therapists and you're basically a guinea pig for them to learn from. The only good therapists leave after they get enough experience to move onto somewhere better. Don't waste your time here

i’ve been seeing kristen condie at this office for the past 5 years, and my life has significantly changed! i’m so appreciative to have such a wonderful therapist that has helps me grow and flourish from a teenager to an adult.

I have been using family and children’s for the last 15 months. My first therapist unfortunately moved out of the area so I was put on a wait list. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful, and got me through the abusive relationship I was in. Fast forward to the beginning of September I received a phone call saying how there was someone available for me to see again. Perfect timing because me and my ex had broken up a week before hand and I was in a bad mental state. I then started seeing Bailey. She’s an intern but she has a very successful career ahead of her. She helped me through the beginning stages of my terrible breakup while validating my feelings, coaching me through the struggles of the breakup, and much more. She was absolutely wonderful. I was put on Lexapri through Holli and for the last month I’ve been on it, it has helped tremendously. I feel like an entirely new person. Hopeful, Excited to see what the future holds, and all around genuinely happy. Thank you ❤️

I was a patient here for almost seven years. In my time there, they have given me nothing but runaround. First, they put me on a medication that I did not understand fully, and then the person who was prescribing me that medication, completely stopped following through with my appointments and canceling on me last minute.

My therapist was great in session most of the time, but towards the end, everyone in the center was just rude. I was beyond sick for one of my telehealth appointments to the point where I was unable to even speak. Due to that, I had my partner call for me as I was sitting next to them, in order to cancel my appointment in hopes to get it rescheduled. Instead of receiving a call back to get it rescheduled, I received a letter in the mail saying that I “no call no showed” for my appointment and therefore they were going to permanently discharge me. As we were diving in to important information in terms of my mental health, they left me to figure it out on my own in a not healthy mindset.

I expected more from them since I was a patient there for so long, but within the past couple of years, it has just spiraled. When choosing a place for counseling, I do not recommend going here at all.

Do NOT waists your time.

I regret not looking at the reviews before we took our child here. It was recommended by a public school. I recommend going through your child's pediatrician or PCP for a referral to a real place with real LCSWs.

I've been a client here for a long time and I couldn't be happier with my experience here. Every member of staff has always been kind, courteous, and compassionate in every interaction that I've had with them. If you're looking for therapy, I'd highly recommend Family & Children's Counseling Services.

If I could give no stars I would. First experience here and it isn't a good one. A referral was sent in for my daughter for counseling and after doing her intake (which she didn't need to be there for) I ended up having CPS show up because of the idiot at the office that did my daughter's intake. I know that it was this office because it was the first time that my fiance or I had given anyone his new phone number (his doctor doesn't even have this number yet).So with that being said I would take your time and money somewhere else.Not a good look and now my daughter has even more anxiety because she thinks that needing counseling in the first place is what caused the CPS report. It is not her fault that she needs to have this service nor should she feel that in some way this report is her fault.
