“I chose PKJ after the Home Depot Referral program and a quote from higher rated installers because they enjoy rippping off Long Islanders as Real Estate Tax isn't bad enough. Companies like M&I quoted me $625 where other have charged as much as $800. I called to get a quote from PKJ and the polite lady said Pete's next appointment was in 2 weeks where other companies had availabilty as soon as the next day because they charged a higher price! I even was told I had to upgrade to 200 AMPs because I had too many connections in the house! Amazing Pete was a year younger than me so it was great to talk to him while he installed my Hunter Ceiling Fan.“

I was called back by Steve right away and he asked me for a couple of simple things, possibly to save me time and money. I liked immediately that he was upfront and transparent.He came the next day and went right to work. He wasn't trying to get me to sign on some dotted line. He went right to the panel and started diagnosing and poking and fixing, with not one word about the price. Steve just wanted to fix the problem by getting down to it. I kept asking him questions and he answered them all until I realized I was talking too much for him to focus on the task in front of him.The panel needled a part which he left the premise to go and get. He went outside and caulked silicon to make it waterproof. The power was back up. He charged me a very reasonable amount and I paid him by Zelle. He gave me an estimate for a possible future work and that was very reasonable as well.I love the fact that he wasn't a salesman but rather a true professional who cared that I had safe and functioning electrical system. “We recently had bass electric redo and renovate the electric in our bedroom. Putting in high hats, outlets, moving outlets, adding sconces to the walls, etc. it’s an old house and not an easy workplace. The technicians had to get into a crawlspace, relocate wiring, they showed up on time, put on little booties so they wouldn’t track any dirt in or out of the house and when they left our bedroom and the rest of the house was as clean or cleaner then when they arrived. They came they worked, they were very pleasant, but they were no nonsense, get the job done. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing electrical services.“
