We are so thankful for Chris and John at Hudson Valley Vinyl. Our guests purchased records for us the day of the wedding and signed their packages with thoughtful notes. I had an excellent experience selling some of my old punk rock record collection that I don't listen to anymore to Hudson Valley Vinyl. Chris was very easy to communicate with to schedule the visit. John came up to my house in the Hudson Valley, looked through all the vinyl I wanted to sell and gave me a very fair price. He even took the extras he wasn't so interested in off my hands to sell in their discount bin, for a little extra cash! Small, curated selection of records in very nice condition. They don't serve beer, but the bar up the street that sells records had a better beer selection than LP offerings. Pick your middle-aged-dad-type poison, I suppose. I walked away with a great old Folkways album of Indonesian gamelan music, a Peter Gabriel promo, and a recording of Chippewa songs. The guy gave me a deal, too.
