Words can not express how thankful and how much I recommend Oswego County SPCA - OCAWLand CNY Canine Academy/Dogz Gone Wild. We have adopted from multiple rescues before, but this experience has been the best one by far. From submitting an application, to the interview, and to the meet and greet it was seamless. Huge thank you to Stephanie M. Camus that rooted for and instilled confidence into Baloo during the meet and greet. This is our forth pittie and this breed can be easily misunderstood. Oswego County SPCA provided an environment for Maggie to grow, learn and to feel like she belongs while awaiting her forever home with us. Maggie is one of the sweetest, gentle, playful, joyful, and loving pups. From the moment our pact met Maggie, it has felt like she has always belonged and finished out our pact. Thank you Stephanie, Tonya and her husband for saving those that need to be saved and for blessing us humans with joy. I highly recommend this rescue and training facility.
I cannot recommend this place enough! My Rylie loves her time at day care and has learned so much from her time in day school! She is a completely different dog! She is so much more confident and willing to try new situations since working with Jess and Val. I also cannot express how diligent they are in making sure that the dogs are well matched in their playgroups and because everyone who works there has canine behavioral training, they stop any squabbles before they start. If you are looking for a place for your fur baby to come and play and learn some serious skills, check them out, you will not regret it!!
We brought our dogs Rudy and Rosie there to be boarded for what we thought would only be a week. We were having a major renovation done on a house we bought. Well it ended up being close to 6 weeks! I am so grateful for the care they received. They posted pictures every day and they were actually very happy there. I recommend them 100%! I will gladly bring them back anytime!!
