I called to make an appointment and they said it’s as walk in only which it was. They go based on first come first serve. I asked her to lighten my hair without bleaching it, and a roller set. I want to say it took a little over 3 hours, when I asked how long it would take I didn’t get an estimate which is understandable. They put something that looked and smelled like bleach in my hair for about an hour, so I’m a little skeptical about that. I had the BEST experience at Jahaira Dominican Salon! I went in with one idea for my hair, but Jahaira, the owner, suggested something different and asked if it was okay to try. I trusted her process, and I’m so glad I did—this is the best I have ever seen my hair! She truly knows what she’s doing and has a gift for bringing out the best in your look. Jahaira has gained a forever customer—I won’t be going anywhere else!
Since I’ve moved back from Connecticut a few months ago, this has been my only shop that I have come to get my hair done. I’m glad I made this choice because the staff is amazing. Jahaira Is so pleasant and sweet and she knows what she is doing when it comes to hair.
