“I had a New Years Eve wedding in the area a couple of years ago. I waited until the last minute to figure out what to do with my hair, I called up Salon Silk the day before to see if there were any appointments and Nina squeezed me in in the morning. My experience at Salon Silk was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. Nina is extremely nice and did such an incredible job on my hair. I have very thick/curly hair, and not once did she have any rude comments about the thickness (literally every other hair stylist I’ve gone to has made comments). She washed, blow dried and styled my hair for an incredibly reasonable rate and it lasted ALL DAY! She did a beautiful old fashioned wave style for me, and even after dancing for hours and watching the ball drop, my hair looked like I just walked out of the salon. I wish I lived in the area, I would definitely make Salon Silk my permanent salon.“

“I recently had a bad haircut (not from this place) that I was pretty upset about. I'd asked for a trim of 1 inch and this other person cut off about 5 inches of hair, so needless to say I was quite unhappy with how that went. Thankfully, a friend recommended me to Best Image hair salon here and I'm so glad I went to them to have it fixed. He took the time to listen to me, looked at a few pictures of how my hair used to be and explained what he was doing while showing me as he was fixing things up to make sure we were on the same page. Very patient, caring and friendly. And did a great job fixing it up. Definitely would recommend.Service: Haircut“

Have even referred my family AND friends to them who mutually feel the same.Wish I could say the same about the rest of their staff.Please AVOID their employee *EDWIN* AT ALL COSTS. * DO NOT LET HIM GO NEAR YOU*During my wash, water was way too hot and he got me soaking wet. I kept telling myself “its okay its okay, he’s almost done” until I couldnt anymore and spoke up. I respectfully asked him to lower the water temperature and instead got a rather rude response from him. Then as he proceeds to rinse my hair he starts to scrape my scalp and pull at my hair in a forceful way. I had enough and asked him to stop because at this point he had already given me a headache. He got upset and started yelling at me infront of the other customers and eventually stormed out of the salon.Elias kindly jumped in and finished my wash and Vlad proceeded to finish my hair.After the rather unpleasant experience I opted to leave him a tip which he very publicly rejected infront of other customers and made a few comments while at it too.Vlad and Elias saw the whole thing unfold and apologized to me, they know what happened.This caused me to feel embarrassed, uncomfortable and disrespected. I sadly will not be returning unless Edwin is gone for good.I’m taking the time to write this for others to not experience what I experienced and if you choose to come here you will be in great hands as long as you avoid Edwin (curly hair hispanic man)On a positive note- LOVE VLAD AND ELIAS AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MYHAIR ! I hope this doesn’t push anyone away because THEM two are truly GREAT!“

I loved their online portfolios (which I saw on Instagram), and I knew I was going to choose them even before I did my trial, just based on a phone conversation. I specifically hired wedding vendors who were talented, professional, and most importantly, people I would want to spend the whole day with. These ladies were that and more! Kara kept me laughing and Monique kept me calm during my hair/makeup trials and on my Wedding Day. They were an absolute “dream team” – dealing with the craziness of myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and all of my bridesmaids. I can have fairly low confidence in my appearance, but Kara and Monique made me feel like a fairy princess – I’ve never felt so beautiful.
