I highly recommend Boyd/Spencer Funeral Home. It's not a pleasant occasion to have a wake and funeral but at Boyd Spencer you get personalized service and a top notch Funeral Home. I have been friends with Charlie Spencer for many years and unfortunately required his services quite a few times in my 52 years on earth. He has coordinated several wakes and funerals for me and my family. The latest one being my father. Unfortunately Charlie was out on medical leave when my father passed but that didn't stop Charlie from reaching out to me and my family and getting us the best services available. The in house catering between day time and night time sessions was a very welcomed feature. Not having to have people at someone's house or a restaurant in between made it very convenient. The people who traveled to see my father were comforted with a beautiful meal with excellent service. The staff is always nice. Bob was our funeral director and handled things well. The funeral home is clean and the rooms are large and comfortable. Thank you Charlie, Bob and the gang over at Boyd Spencer for making losing my father and comforting experience.
