Service is professional and impeccable and super sweet. She is honest about timelines and prices and she has very reasonable price. She altered numerous gowns and wedding dresses and wedding gown alterations and many pairs of pants and tux and took measurements right away. She tells what can and cannot be done. Customer say she is best tailor in New York area and highly recommend her and never disappoints. She is extremely professional and very sweet.
I highly recommend Ligia, her work is meticulous and impeccable. She altered a bridesmaid dress for me and she really took the time to make sure everything looked exactly right, and considered things I hadn’t even thought of! Chatting with her throughout the process was an added bonus, her wit and dark humor are delightful. I will definitely take anything I need altered in the future to her!
Ligia is the absolute best. I first had the pleasure of working with her when I had a bridesmaid dress that needed taking in and hemming. She has so much experience and it was reflected in the great advice she gave me. Her prices are reasonable but are reflective of the excellent quality of her work. She gives realistic timelines and especially if you call in advance, she will fit you in. Honestly she has made me a better-dressed person overall. I would trust her with my wedding gown. Ligia’s work is impeccable - I brought a pair of trousers to be shortened and, after seeing the care and detail orientation she works with, I also brought a bunch of other things. Everything was executed perfectly. I’m a perfectionist and every small thing bothers me but Ligia left nothing to be desired. She also advised me to go back and fit with high heels, not only with sneakers, so we knew the length was right. Few people will take their time to do that. Highly recommended!
