I started coming to Astoria Cleaners after all of the glowing reviews and the reviews were right! Jose does a wonderful job with the alterations. But the reason I will be a loyal customer for as long as they are open is because of Silvia. She is incredibly professional and also very kind and friendly. She remembers faces and names, does her best to help with any requests or questions, she always makes sure everything is right with the orders, and is truly just a delightful and wonderful person. She makes coming in to get my clothes altered and cleaned something to look forward to!
The best dry cleaners and tailoring in Astoria, we trust them with all our clothes! Jose has been my tailor for 2 years now. For my wedding, I only had one layer in my dress, so double check before you set up an appointment if he can work with the material(s), but I highly recommend! We had two fittings, my dress fit like a glove and was ready on time! Total was under $200. I also got my dress dry cleaned after. Silvia recommended to not fully preserve it in a box, that the price/service was not necessary for my type of dress, but they put it on a chest - which I appreciated. Thank you Jose + Silvia!

I needed a few special cleanings and alterations done, so I went to Astoria Cleaners.
The most important item for me was repairing the inner lining of my late grandfather’s old jacket — I was really nervous about it.
The woman who helped me was honest and gave me a fair price. Although there was a slight delay and the clothes weren’t ready exactly when promised, they were completed a few days later, and the results were excellent.
She even called me to ask which color fabric I preferred and let me choose from what they had in stock. I didn’t want to pay extra for new fabric, so I went with the team’s recommendation — and it turned out beautifully....read full review
