Had a breakdown on 07/28/25.Called Geico for roadside assistance a little pass 12pm.They said this was the closest station for service.B&M gave an ETA of 1.16pm.Then updated that to 2.16pm.At 2.16pm another update till 3.17pm.Called towing service to ask if they were AAA approved.The female clerk that answered heard what I ask and hanged up on me.Called right back,a male clerk then said it's gonna be a bit longer.I got a text saying new ETA 5.30pm.Mind you they claim online to close at 4.pm.I can only surmise that they taking tows that are going to there own shop,while putting me off.If you can't handle the tow,just say so.Customers come to rely on your services and ETA's.Your companies will never build a decent clientele with this type of services.B&M would hereafter be the last service I'll call and even then would be hesitant to do so.I had to call a different tow company from further away,and they made it in 30 mins.When I arrived at my shop of choice,they were getting ready to close.Had your company been on-time even at your 3.17 pm ETA I would have got there,been diagnosed,got part and serviced and wouldn't have to use a sick day today in order to get my vehicle serviced.Worst customer service ever.
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. If your car got towed by this company please check your car before leaving the place. I did the mistake to just grab and go and didn't do a check up. Things came up missing and as I called them right away I was given the run around. I asked are they supposed to get in the car and they said NO ok good so one why was my door unlocked when I know every time I leave my car I lock my doors their response was I DONT KNOW, two why was I missing stuff from my car that I know for sure was in there again their response was I DONT KNOW and three so then how do you explain these big footprints in my car now mind u am a female and they look like bigfoot footprints in my car and again their respond was I DONT KNOW and they will do is cover for their workers and not take responsibility. They wasn't even trying to help just trying to make me feel like am crazy like I don't know what I had in my car. Worst place ever
It's illegal for them to charge more than $125 for a tow. If they force you to pay cash it's so there's no record. Report them online here: nyc.gov/site/dca/consumers/file-complaint.page Or I can do it for you if you use my form
