I just got back from a very long and sad trip to NY to bury my beloved “Cinderella”. I needed a memory tattoo before I left to go home to Virginia. Nic and Michelle made it happen!! I cannot thank Jared Stomber and all the crew at Empire State Studio. Great artists and human beings!! If anyone is looking for ink, this is the place to go. Amazing experience from start to finish. The shop is beautiful and the energy is right, unlike other tattoo shops. Their open floor plan design and warm lighting makes you feel at home. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was where I would get my next tattoo. Both of us were tattooed by Bobby. He is an amazingly talented artist who puts your needs first. Both designs healed well and look beautiful. We will definitely return and will highly recommend this establishment to everyone we know looking to get inked.

I don’t think ive ever written one review in my life but had to make an account to do so for this shop and my experience so far here. About a week ago I had a short phone convo with Nick (I think shop manager?) about what I was coming in for. For starters he was the sweetest most accommodating person which that in itself made me not even look further at other shops. The next day I spoke with Bobby on the phone (artist) about what it is we were going to do to recreate/fix a really lousy half sleeve that I thought there was no saving.
