Ashley was absolutely awesome. I went in with a destroyed bearing from my lawn tractor. I could not find anything on it to identify it. The extent of damage to the siezed bearing made it impossible for me to even measure it to find a matching replacement. Ashley spent 20 minutes magnifying, identifying. Interpreting, cross-referencing and finally matching the bearing I needed. Here's the thing: it was a $6 bearing. She was tenacious in identifying it (recognizing a couple of numbers in the mangled thing and figuring the rest!), but she was glad to help me over an inexpensive bearing! Customer service is above and beyond. Dan was a great help getting my account setup and all the things i needed to order. Nice to have people behind the counter that don’t mind doing there job these days.
Update: Grainger went out of their way to make it right!! They shipped new replacement boxes to me for free, right to my door!! Thank you so much! Will definitely continue doing business with them!
I have a mixed review about this place. First of all the people there are pretty nice, we had a good conversation, pickup was generally pretty easy and they even helped me carry the stuff out to my car.
The boxes I did receive were badly damaged, I ordered several stacks of double walled boxes to hold inventory and they were in rough shape, bad dents and water damage. I told the lady about that and she said fed ex is rough with their handling... okay sure...read full review
