“I sat there and waited for a minute while I think her name is Carol cut a clients hair and he was a little boy and I tell you this lady was cutting his hair all the while he’s moving and talking in the chair and on the phone and it came out looking perfect as if he was sitting in the chair not moving’ you know that’s a barber in my book I went there for my nails and I like it we had a few laughs while she did my nails it was only 2 lady’s when I was there but I’ll go again for sure.“

PHS destroys the current corporate and clinical approach of supposedly modern beauty salons, which these days lack that personal connection with their clients. Kate and Barbara have truly achieved a fantastic vibe. Heather was my assigned artist. And she is awesome. Open, friendly, fun, and absolutely invested in what it was I was after for my mop of thinning hair. Constant conversation during the cut regarding the layering, feathering, length, "clunkiness," and overall feel of her work. I am a fussy, pain-in-the-derriere type of client. Not today. I enjoyed my entire experience so much, not only will I be back, but I booked my wife in with Heather for next week. Thats "two snaps up (in a Z formation)" from me !“

“This nail spa came highly recommended. I do massage sometimes with my feet (Ashiatsu), and so it's important for me to have my feet and nails in tip-top condition. I often do my own , but sometimes you want (a.k.a need) a professional pedicure! I dread the junk ingredients and breathing issues I experienced at another nail place, so while Blush + Bone is kind of a drive for us I had to try it. It is NOT easy to find a more naturally-based nail salon, and I was excited. I had Liberty as my nail tech and in addition to her being really cool and personable.. I LOVE my cute toes! The other nail techs were also really friendly. What I appreciate about this nail spa is it feels like your in a cozy living room environment. “I had a great experience. I do not like going to get my hair cut, I'm very indecisive, I don't care to hold conversation, I don't care to be touched, I never do anything with my hair anyway.
However, I called to check their hours, which they vary with technicians availability (ballpark usual business hours like 9-5). Maria texted me (they asked if text was ok since I was about to be at work and not able to answer calls) I had limited availability and she was able to take me in the very next morning (which I appreciated as I likely would have just postponed for another year). She was finished in the time frame I had available - and even styled my hair! (She asked if it was okay first) I've never had curls before and I'll say it was a pleasant experience! Opened up my eyes to more styling possibilities.
She mentioned some products used but didn't push any sales at the end (which for me was perfect, the haircut alone is overwhelming && I don't want to hear about confusing products for more money yet)

I definitely plan on visiting again! I won't wait a couple years for a cut this time ☺️“

“I was looking for a place that does hard gel instead of acrylic because acrylic seems to damage my nails. I did a google search and saw the Nail Bar pop up and that the offered hard gel. I called and they were able to get me in next day and were very accommodating when I asked if I could come earlier in the morning.
I walked in and Jenn was my nail tech. I told her I hadn't had my nails done since last summer and wanted something simple to start. I got exactly that but better. She was also very personable and so nice. The entire appointment was very relaxed and she was extremely detail oriented which I appreciate after having experienced sloppy work throughout the years. I'm so happy with my nails and they look so pretty and natural. I'll definitely be going back to Jenn.

“Good experience. They gotta tell people when they are drinking at the place to not be on speaker phone. No one wants to hear about your baby daddy problems or how you gonna take all his money. The guest was cussing excessively and was drunk enough to lip off if you said something and next thing you know I’m in handcuffs. So the business needs to control this better. Stop talking to each other in your language and tell the messy guests to leave!“

“Such a great spa . My first Sports Massage ever (mid 50s here) was today with Gina . Where has she been hiding? Apparently at Renaissance Spa! Wow. Right off the bat, Gina approached me smiling and with open hands - I instantly felt calm in her presence. She released so much pain that I’ve been having in my low back into my leg that I’m seriously reconsidering some scheduled back nerve blocks. Yes, she is that good. Gina also made my neck relax. I didn’t even realize my neck was tight until she worked her magic. Sort of embarrassing to admit this. I’m a big ball of stress and she got me to truly unwind. ?
After my amazing massage I had a beautiful mani pedi with Alison. Again, such a lovely experience and her work is immaculate ! So happy with my pretty fingers and toes.
I signed up for a membership today after my services so I can be pampered and taken care of more often. The manager Stephanie was so kind too . My experience today was just wonderful start to finish .

“Very happy with my experience. One of the more affordable salons in Sparks however that doesn’t mean they aren’t even better than those expensive places. I scheduled my appointment only a day in advance but when I got there my stylist got me in right away, she was very friendly and it was an inviting place. I got my hair cut by Bertha and she did a fantastic job. I showed her a couple reference photos and she completely nailed the vibe I was going for. Got an amazing hair cut, she washed it and styled it for only 45$!! (plus a tip of course because she did a great job) She gave me a wonderful very layered bob cut with perfect face framing and showed me a cute way to style it. Definitely going back :)“
