This is my favorite WinCo in town! It's a bit out of my way, but always worth the drive. The store is clean, the shopping carts all work, and the employees are so friendly and kind! There are plenty of manned checkouts and self-checkouts available. On my recent visit when checking out, I noticed that the cashier I was about to go to was "in-training" and they had a sign asking people to be patient. I almost turned around and then thought, nah, she needs it! Her name is Maddi and she was the absolute sweetest! Very pleasant to talk to and doing an excellent job with how new she was! This Winco was conveniently located along Pyramid Highway when I was in need of a coffee drink and a ladies room. The bakery goods were fresh. The refrigerated soft drinks and coffee drinks were chilled. The food aisles were neat and well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful.
After shopping at Winco Northtown because the employees there are rude and the store is old and dirty. I said I would never shop Winco again. We decided to give this location a try since it's new and was pleasantly surprised. It's clean and the employees are actually nice and helpful. They make rye bread every day and it is the best. The produce selection is excellent and the sushi is fresh and very good. The pricing is great and the selection of goods is impressive. I hope they can maintain this location at this level of service and cleanliness.
