We had never really trained our Lhasa Apso before and she was very protective of us and our house. She would snip at other dogs and bark at passerby’s. At age 7, we thought it may be too late to train our little one. Finding Marie and PackPerfect K9 has been a godsend. Marie has worked with Kaia and with us in a positive nurturing way and Kaia has responded so well. She is confident, listens and obeys commands, does great around other dogs and people. We started with private lessons and now Kaia visits Marie and other dogs in a group setting. She is so happy and well adjusted. We could not be happier. Marie knows her stuff and is a caring and loving teacher.

Marie is a genius! Huck spent 10 days with Marie for a board and train & came back a new dog. He learned here, place, sit, down & stay close. Huck absolutely loves seeing Marie for follow up trainings & he loves daycare with her too! If you’re looking for a dog trainer in Reno/Sparks I highly recommend Marie & trust her wholeheartedly.

I recently enrolled my GSD Husky mix and rescue pup, Gia, in a 10-day board and train program with Marie, who uses the “Training Between the Ears” (TBTE) philosophy. From the moment I met Marie, I was impressed by her deep understanding of dog behavior and her compassionate approach.
Throughout the program, Marie focused on building trust and communication with Gia. I appreciated her emphasis on positive reinforcement, self-relaxation techniques, and socialization, which was perfect for Gia’s sometimes fearful-reactive temperament. Marie provided daily updates, including videos, which kept me informed and reassured while we were on vacation.
