The carnival features a variety of rides, including a mechanical bull, and wristbands for unlimited rides are available. Food options include pretzels, chicken bowls, lemonade, BBQ, tacos, burgers, and hot dogs, with ample seating in the food court. Attendees can purchase tickets for the main rodeo event, and the Reno Rodeo Association offers shuttle transportation from the nearby GSR. The event attracts a crowd dressed in western wear, adding to the festive atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the well-done rodeo, where the animals seem well-cared for, and the entertaining announcers. The rodeo kick-off concerts are also a highlight, and the event has a lively party atmosphere after the show. In the almost 10 years I've been here I finally went this year , I was actually funner then I thought and was told .. a lot to do a lot of different foods to eat , & just a lot of fun for the whole family ...
Staff was very friendly. We were at the rodeo grounds for several days and had no issues entering and parking. Horse stables are excellent and the warmup and performance arenas are great.
The Reno rodeo was a blast. The energy is high, the crowd is into all of the events, the events were all fun made for all age groups.. if you've never been to the rodeo I recommend that you set time aside on the calendar to go.
