“WOW! My experience with Linda G was amazing. First off, the moment I saw her work, I knew I wanted to work with her. Mind you, I wanted a cover-up of a 10-year black tattoo on my forearm. I wanted something colorful and vibrant and I knew Linda's color game was fierce. Two artists already told me they couldn’t cover up my tattoo, which was a bit disheartening. Also, as a black woman, I’ve come across many artists who choose not to or, aren’t skilled in tattooing darker skin. Finding Linda was a blessing, because not only is she an amazing artist, she is experienced in cover-ups and tattooing darker skin. Since I live out of state, Linda and I had a virtual consult where we discussed my tattoo vision and her tattooing process, with her also answering my questions. I loved Linda’s transparency on pricing, the use (and non use) of numbing cream, length of completion, and final project expectations. Booking online for the consult, paying my deposit, and setting a tattoo appointment was a breeze and straightforward. Fast forward to the big day: The shop was very clean and held to a high standard. I also loved the shop's appointment-only approach, so there were no constant walk-ins or interruptions. I was Linda’s main focus! Now to the tattooing: Let’s face it - tattoos can hurt and there’s no way around it. But Linda went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Deep breathing is VITAL! Linda gave plenty of breaks, good snacks, and water as needed. Also, her music playlist was rock solid! We had good conversation throughout the appointment, which was great. Six hours later, my masterpiece was finished. The portrait Linda created for me was beautiful but seeing the final product literally took my breath away. I FORGOT THIS WAS A COVER-UP! With the level of detail and energy placed in this tattoo, I couldn't even tell what was underneath. Linda absolutely rocked it! The aftercare instructions were easy to follow and before I knew it, I was bandaged up and ready to go. I have 5 others tattoos and the one by Linda was by far the most beautiful and most pleasant experience. Shout out to Linda G for being a phenomenal tattoo artist who loves what she does. I highly recommend her for any project - no matter how big, small, or daunting it may seem. You won’t regret it!“
