I went in for a consult then a weave....and let me tell you.... I loved my hair. The foundation and hair was great quality. I didn't have any problems at all. The whole salon is vibe. Big shout out to Eric who did an amazing job!

One of the best salon experiences I’ve had in awhile! Sieanna was great and very knowledgeable about what my hair needed. I will be back monthly because of their great attention to detail and overall amazing services. Loved them and my hair!!

10/10 amazing staff and experience, I recommend if you are getting your hair re-twisted. Personally, had a great experience with Kyara.

My stylist was Kyara, she was very lovely and sweet and very informed on scalp and hair health. My hair looked great when I left, she offered great recommendations to keep my hair looking its best and great conversation!

I can’t say enough good things about Ego Tripp Salon! It’s very friendly and professional and the owner Kris is about her business. I volunteered to be the model because she was testing out a prospective braider. She made sure the work was being done correctly and that the work was done to her standards. It was a great experience and I love my braids.

Back in April/May, I was researching hair salons in Vegas because I knew I would need a spot when I got to Nevada in June. Within a week of being here from unpacking, organizing my new apartment, I booked an appointment with Shakira.

Ego Tripp is my home away from home. From the vibes, the warmth of the stylists and customers, music blasting in the salon, everything about this place speaks volumes about how much they value, love, and care for you and your hair! I even got a recommendation for nails not too far from the shop.

And they don’t play, they will have you in that chair as soon as you enter and back outside with a fresh style!

I get my retwist done by diamond. She’s amazing and has great growing hands!

I actually had a 5 star review before, but I removed it due to not understanding how my recent experience could be so starkly different. It’s April now, I had my visit in January with Kyara, and it was extremely troubling for me. I won’t be coming back ever again.

For hours my hair length was complained about, and my styling itself (a two strand twist which by the way, caused breakage I never experienced in my entire life. Not even when I got perms as a child!) took four hours. I’ve never had a two strand twist take 4 hours. Not only was it painful, I didn’t remember anyone ever doing three strands at the scalp and then going into two strands. If someone does know what to do, please don’t let them in a client’s hair.

I was also upcharged (I actually don’t care if the price goes up if my hair is done right and treated well) because the assessment of my hair length was incorrect, and I was charged for having “too much hair”. If we’re still punishing clients for having too much hair, I would at least like if we changed the fees beforehand, assessed properly, and explained it to them better and called it something cuter, like an “accessory fee” or something.

Do not make me feel bad for having hair, and that’s exactly what happened here. It was a complete nightmare to deal with this and I had to immediately get my hair redone because it was ruined for my emergency trip to take care of my family in another state. I had to take away time from my family to get my hair redone because of this interaction. This was legitimately horrible, and I never want to think about this salon again after writing this review.

Best experience service and treatment. The steam treatment on my hair was to die for and left the curls and color on my hair fabulous. Kriss takes such good care of you getting to know your wants and needs.
I highly recommend this salon to all.
