The owner/ hairstylist squeezed me in very quickly in between her already booked client. I really like the environment and how cozy it feels. Was also offered drinks, snacks, and adult beverages. “Best kept secret in the Carson Valley! Melissa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 3 years. I was referred to her by another salon who didn't have availability. I'm used to driving to Truckee and paying for high end salons. I needed to find someone closer but it was one disaster after the next. Well I hit the jack pot when I found this place! The salon wasn't near as fancy but the service has always been as good as it gets. Melissa used to work at a high end salon in Union Square in SF. She was trained by the best. Prices very reasonable too!“

“I love this place! I see Malyn for my hair cuts and color and she nails it every time. Actually, to be totally honest, in my 33 years its the best hair cuts that I've ever consistently gotten. The vibe is really casual/relaxed/friendly, while still being clean and of high quality. They have a nail lady who does really cute designs (I haven't had her services yet but I plan to)! I'm from a big city and have been to all sorts of salons that feel overly boogie, expensive, and impersonal. This place feels like your mama's salon and its awesome.“

“When you drive up, the building looks cute, definitely stands out in this location. However there was minimal parking and and street is a dead end, a bit inconvenient if you're handicapped..The waiting area is small, it's a shared studio, so you wait in part of a salon area. This wasn't great, especially with COVID-19, but there isn't much you can do, given that amount of space. Next time I will just arrive closer to my appt time.However, Kimberly has her own room in the back, which makes for a very peaceful environment. I look at the salon as a place where I can relax, so this was perfect. She did an amazing job with the shampoo and conditioning, even gave me a nice scalp massage.When I told her what I wanted for my cut, she more that understood the assignment. She took her time, and it turned out great!10/10 recommend Kimberly at this salon. I will be returning ?“
