Their work is superior to the other roofing companies we have employed in the past. They also understand the challenges of roofing in northern Nevada due to the high winds. Our only regret is, if we would have found them sooner, we would have saved the time and expense of having them fix the previous roofing companies shoddy work.Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage“

“My mom’s home had tile roofing that had originally been installed in the 1980s. This fall (2025), Capitol Roofing replaced the tile with Malarkey 40 year shingles. The process was challenging for the roofing team as an estimated 40,000 pounds of tile had to be removed before re-shingling.
I had anticipated that the old tile would be removed and thrown over the edge of the roof, possibly damaging some of mom’s prized ferns, azaleas, and rhododendrons. To my surprise, the Capitol Roofing team hand carried each tile across the length of the house to a dump truck that was parked in the driveway. I was amazed that not one plant was damaged during the process.
The entire roofing project for the 2,200 sq. ft. home only took about a week and a half completion. At different times, I visited the job-site and each time, Steven, the project manager was willing to stop and answer my questions.
At one point, I asked Steven a question about the use of flashing and he responded, “We want to do this job right the first time so that we don’t have to come back and redo it.“ A few of the roofing plywood panels were damaged and Steven documented those that needed to be replaced with photos so that we could see the extent of repairs.
In summary, not only was the Capitol Roofing bid competitive, but just as important, they were honest, upfront with costs and concerns and made quality and craftsmanship a priority. Their work and materials are also backed by a warranty. Bottom line- I felt that the Capitol Roofing team did an incredible job!
I was impressed that Capitol’s starting and finishing dates were “on target”, the attention to detail in doing the job right was superb, and cost estimation was accurate so that there were no additional expenses upon project completion.
I have been thoroughly impressed by Capitol Roofing and have no qualms in recommending them. It is refreshing to find a family owned company that makes craftsmanship, honesty and value a priority in this era where these qualities are so hard to find.“
