Ugghhh... Foolishly locked myself out of the house... again. It's hot outside. I'm in a hurry. I need to get in, ASAP. Yelp, come to the rescue! I hit the Yelp find-a-service thing and it sent out requests to multiple locksmiths in the area. I'm assuming I'll have to wait minutes, hours, or even days for quotes. Then only seconds later, I get a response from USA Lock and Key, mentioning a flat rate of $79.99 for nearly immediate service (25 minutes away). Let's get it!When the locksmith Haim arrived, I knew right away this was a very professional locksmith who knows what he's doing and he's been doing it for a long time. His clean compact van was essentially a well kept toolbox, even had a key cutting tool in the back. What's more, he had a display with an example dimple key knob, residence knob, and commercial grade knob to show me the differences, while also discouraging bluetooth/smart doorknobs.As the pro he is, he verified my ID and address before getting to work. He gets to work and I noticed, the entire time he had METRO PD license displayed around his neck so I pick his brain about it. Sketchy locksmiths may do work to scope out a place, duplicate keys, or damage knobs to scam customers into buying parts, so it's important that your locksmith be registered through the police department. He even stated he occasionally gets called for Metro assistance. Whoa.Just minutes into the work and I was already into my home. Haim was very knowledgeable, professional, and you could tell he puts a lot of care in his work. Hopefully I won't lock myself out again, but if I do, this is the guy. By the way, its been a whole day and I got the second quote from another business.
Four years ago I lost my key fob at a Walmart I called my insurance company yea they told me it would be about 4 to 5 hours. Oh heck no not in the heat in Las Vegas, I called this company and they came within half hour and this year on my new car I must have wore out the bad it was junk I was rescued once again and I highly recommend them they will take care of you...
It's a hassle losing keys especially if it's your car keys with no spare. We'll, usa lock and key was very helpful. I called them and they sent Dan the man out which only took 15 minutes to get to me. He tinkered with the door and got me a key made with a spare in around 20 minutes. Price was a on the higher side with $300 after tax with main key,spare key, and labor . Worth it to me because of the convenience. It was fast and convenient. Give them a call if you need keys made.
