First off I’m not even going to bother going into the sanitation issues in this place. There’s enough reviews letting you know about that issue . But let’s start from the top, shall we ? I visited this salon late may to get a full set and pedi done. I had a full set put on by a young lady named patty. My first set I had 0 issues with . Shortly after that I was in an accident and had to remove my nails. Fast forward to less than two weeks ago I returned to this salon , it’s was about 5pm in the afternoon. I requested patty for my services as I had been a returning client of hers for some time at this point . She was servicing someone and I waited about two hours . Here’s where the problems began , she does my pedi and sits me down to install my acrylics. She informs me that Friday’s aren’t a good day to get double services that late in the day because she leave at 9 on weekends. If she would have told me from the beginning I would have came another time . It’s 8pm at this point but she does my nails anyways , she did not properly prepare my nails nor did she put on enough acrylic for them to be sturdier than a cheap press on . She also (to save time and rush the process) painted my nails with regular polish while I paid for gel . I even tipped her an additional 25$ for staying late on a day she leaves early , and just let it be because that’s what a good client should do ! Not even a week in , one breaks I go in and fix it . Which she wouldn’t even fix I might add she passed me off to another tech. The next day another one, and another the following day . Being that I paid 125$ ,150 with tip for regular polish medium length nails and they are breaking off if I breathe too hard I’m their direction, I was unhappy with this service . They are also all different shapes and lengths. Just a mess ! I called the salon and spoke to sunny who claims she is the owner and she asked me to come in so we can talk about it . I think it should be noted I did not approach them with ill intent or an attitude for that matter. I very well could have come in and made it a problem but I didn’t, It just wasn’t the quality I was used to receiving from this place . In speaking with sunny she was full of excuses on why I was charged so much for no gel polish and poor quality service on a full set less than two weeks old as today . I just wanted them to make it right or at least have some compassion and good customer service. I truly did like this shop, despite its many faults and red flags . After speaking with sunny and basically coming to the conclusion that I was not a valued customer and they had no interest in working with me on this I asked her for a soak off . She got frustrated and called patty over, in a nice way I explained to patty that I just wasn’t happy with the service that I got and she literally doesn’t even say a word , turns around and goes back to what she is doing with her client . After she did that sunny tried to take me back to soak them off and I thanked her for her time and let her know I would just take my business elsewhere at that point . She didn’t seem to really give a crap, but customer retention is important to some professionals. I left the salon with two broken nails, and tons of disappointments. I was truly hoping to rectify it with them . Not worth it . 125$ wasted . I would rate a 0 if I could . Save your time and money and go where your valued and appreciated by your nail techs
