This review is for the alterations shop that exists inside called R Farjami Atelier. I had a broken zipper on my jeans and wasn't sure who to talk to, but the owner welcomed me in and right then and there and fixed up my pants for me, free of charge. More intensive alterations will definitely cost money, but my experience shows that he also wants you to get the best value for your money and time.
I am not confused at all why this business has 5 stars. I have used Mint Locker two times. Once a few years ago to get a blazer and skirt cleaned, it was an easy-peasy process.Fast forward to my 2nd time 2023. The stage is set, beach wedding ivory wedding gown. The bottom is dirty and I will be honest with you, we scouted out our wedding venue beforehand. I used my hands to climb down the cliffs to where we ended up taking our pictures, when trying to rub the dirt off my hands they were stained clay brown/red. Think Red Rock! When it came time to walk down the aisle my coordinator recommended I keep my dress bustled, um no thank you!! I wanted a train for a reason!! Which meant I knew I would need it cleaned. Returning to town I started looking in to who would be able to clean my $400 wedding dress. I didn't go all out on budget for this dress, there isn't lace or beads. I took it to a cleaners near Mint Locker(very close if you get my drift). They quoted me $150 after a phone call to their associate. I left with my dress. I decided on Mint Locker and wrote my notes in. I dropped my dress off with the easiest drop off steps ever and went on my way. I hadn't updated my payment info in years, they reached out after a day and let me know. Once I updated it, they told me my dress was ready and I picked it up!!! Here's the kicker folks, when I picked my dress up I was expecting to pay $135. That's what the website quotes, my receipt shows I paid $22 for a delicate dress!!!! As I mentioned and as you're able to see via my photos, my dress is GOREGOUS(yes, I'm patting my back on dress choice), but, it isn't couture. Thank you for not gouging me Mint Locker, thank you for cleaning my dress, it is perfect!! You guys rock and I promise to keep on using you.
Writing this from the car after picking up my items, and yet another outstanding experience with Mint Locker! I first discovered them after another local dry cleaning place completely ruined a unique pair of boots that I've had for years, and I had to scramble to find another pair. That wasn't fun. So when I saw all the great reviews of Mint Locker and saw that it was close to my house, I had to give them a try. They totally delivered! The experience is very cool and convenient- you download an app and put in your card info, arrive to the location, put your items in a locker, and enter the order into the app. You can even customize your preferences for cleaning. You will get a super quick confirmation email that your items have been picked up, and they are usually ready within days to a week. When the items are ready, you get an email that tells you which locker the items are in. You just show up, grab the items, and go! It's SO easy, and no interaction with staff unless you need service, for which they respond in an extremely prompt and nice manner by email or phone. Also, drop off and pickup is available 24 hrs a day, which is an amazing perk. My first order was some dry cleaning with a white rhinestone top that had been badly stained, and it came out looking like new. I was really impressed, so when I saw on the price list that they did leather cleaning, I decided to really test them out by getting some leather jackets cleaned. One suede jacket had a bad stain that multiple local dry cleaners had told me that they would never be able to get out, and I hadn't worn it in years. I was nervous about the cleaner possibly damaging my jackets, so left a note that if they couldn't clean the jacket without damaging it, please just return it. When the order took longer than a week, I called Mint Locker and a very nice woman picked up who told me exactly when my jackets would be ready. The customer service was excellent. I was SHOCKED when all the jackets came back looking clean and practically like new! Their dry cleaning services are very quick, but repairs and more detailed cleaning like shoes and jackets can take longer. If you get concerned, they actually respond to emails and calls! Now pretty confident with using Mint Locker, I just got some white boots cleaned that had been badly stained and scuffed. Again when I got them back- LIKE NEW. Their abilities to clean expensive items and materials that can be easily damaged is top notch compared to every other cleaner I've visited in Vegas. I even dropped off some pants and leggings that they fixed holes in as well. I'm now a huge Mint Locker fan- won't use any other cleaner in Vegas! I regret all the money I spent on every other dry cleaner and shoe repair person previously. Thank you so much for your amazing quality work and customer service!
