Ellen Merkin, OD, was a beloved eye doctor who was known for her exceptional care and personal connections with her patients. Many have been seeing her for years, with some being patients for over three decades. She was not just a doctor, but also a friend to many, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her nurses continue to work at a new location, and patients speak highly of the male doctor who has taken over her practice. Dr. Merkin passed away on August 25th, 2023 due to pancreatic cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of dedicated service and heartfelt care.
