Aaron, from A-z handyman Services came to repair my locking gate to prevent a simple screwdriver from opening the gate. Despite many issues with this gate, Aaron came through.

So my 2-year-old, 50-pound psycho dog that still behaves as if she's 6 months old decided to sprint and make a mad dash toward the sliding glass door leading to the outside patio. Problem was the door wasn't opened. Noticing this a bit too late to stop in time, she applied her brakes but momentum, aided by a tile floor, slid her into the plantation shutters on the inside of the sliding glass door. Like a ballplayer after having rounded third base sliding in to a blocked home plate: Ka-pow! Then Snap! Break! go two of the (top mounted) rollers. It was funny to watch, but the damage was done. What to do? We called Aaron at A-Z Handyman. He got the job done to standard at a reasonable price. And get this, he cleaned up after himself with a broom and a dust pan. Of course, we tipped him $10 - lunch on us that day - took his card, and next time the dog has a berzerk-o, bug-out, mad-dog moment resulting in the dictionary definition of "mayhem" (willful or needless damage or violence) we're calling Aaron to repair the damage.

I contacted the owner through Yelp for a quote on my project. I was able to send him a photo of what was needed to be done and get a price estimate. He was quick to respond to my initial request and afterwards when I had other questions. His price was reasonable and I would definitely contact again.
