Went in whilst on holiday for a cut. Cut was done by Dre (apologies if spelled wrong) and he spent over an hour on it. Wife was pleased with the result and she's a hairdresser! So was I! It's a proper barbers, which we really liked, with all the chat going on from the owner putting the world to rights! Very entertaining and best $30 I spent all holiday!
Mike first cut my hair in 2012. I left Las Vegas in 2013 and returned in 2014. Mike has consistently cut my hair since then. he attention to detailed and level of professionalism has not waned even through the early days of the pandemic. He is always on time, organized, informs you of his plans to take vacation, his tools are always clean, he provides education on best hygiene practices to maximize hair quality, and is open to feedback. One does not feel intimidated if they want to make a last minute change . I feel safe in his chair and experience more as a family and less of a patron however I am still respected as such. Being from out of town looking for a barbershop or beauty salon can be scary. I found this shop close to my appointment in downtown Vegas 1 block from my appointment. Yelp said walk ins welcomed, so I walked over, Greta's soon as the door closed was direct to an empty chair and my barber stepped forward and greeted me cheerfully. Mario listened to what I said I wanted and delivered an expert cut and bread trim. Took a little longer than normal, however nothing needed to be touch up or change. The other barbers included me in the local bantering and all around shop talk, which left me feeling respected instead of being an outsider. Great Job Mario.
