Driving Instructor Russel is decent at teaching basic and some advanced driving maneuvers. Couple things that need to be addressed as follows:Followed on driving test per exact verbal instructions to drive to the middle of an intersection to yield for the left turn on a flashing yellow arrow - resulted in an automatic failure.Have front turning wheels to make contact with sidewalk when parking in an uphill or downhill slope - resulted in automatic failure.I'd say good recommendation to start learning how to drive but please follow the exact instructions in the DMV handbook when taking the test.

They were nice, but I bought four two-hour lessons for my wife and she still has failed the driving test three times since for not knowing how to do left turns, yield to incoming traffic, and school zones. I asked her what did they do during their lessons, she said they would do roads but then he would take her really far on the freeway. The DMV does not test freeways, so I felt this was a bad idea/waste. Since I paid a lot to help her pass the drive test and she has failed three times since, I can't give more than two stars. Two just because he was nice.
