My family had a very upsetting experience at Sports Clips. My mother took my 5-year-old brother, who is autistic, in for a haircut. The stylist cutting his hair appeared inexperienced and accidentally sprayed him directly in the face, which understandably caused him to scream and become distressed. Instead of responding with patience and understanding, she reacted as though his response was his fault.
What was even more concerning was that another stylist, identified as Jody Palowski, raised her voice at my mother and brother and stated that they did not want to cut his hair because he is autistic and they did not have a stylist experienced enough. The way this was handled felt dismissive and discriminatory.
Families with children on the autism spectrum deserve respect, patience, and professionalism. If a business is not equipped to provide a service, it should communicate that kindly and appropriately — not in a way that makes a child or parent feel unwelcome.
I hope management addresses this situation and provides better training for working with neurodiverse clients in the future.

If I could I would give zero stars. We always come and have great experiences. Jodi the worst woman i have ever met stressed my son's stylist so bad. My son has autism and was crying and his stylist was doing her best my son wasn't moving and Jodi kept putting my son down. Extremely discriminatory. I asked before I waited 1 hour could they handle severe autism. Then putting my son down embarrassing him and stressing him out is uncalled for. I hope this company fires her.

If you go to this location I highly recommend JoJo. She’s a great stylist and delivers a true mvp experience. I have curly hair and it’s always 50/50 if a fresh cut looks good… except when I go see jojo. Always on point

Go see Rosa!!! She did an AWESOME job and there was only a 10 minute wait to get in. Place is clean and they had the games on, as expected!

Always a great haircut at this location. Anaisa did a great job today and got me familiar with a leave in conditioner I purchased that works well for me. Thanks again and see you next time!
