Mickey is that barber. I’m a DJ at Thunder From Down Under, so looking sharp is literally part of my job, and this dude keeps me dialed in every single time.
He’s consistent, detail‑oriented, and you can tell he actually cares about how you walk out of his chair. The cut always hits — clean, sharp, and exactly how I want it.
His shop is on Eastern right next to Golden Boy (I’m in there grabbing food all the time), so it’s super convenient. Good vibes, great cuts, and someone you can trust with your look. Mickey’s the guy

Found Carol on a whim when my 7yo son desperately needed a haircut on short notice. I was pleased with her work, so I had my daughter get her hair cut by Carol too. We showed Carol a picture of the cut my daughter wanted with long bands and layers. Carol nailed it! My daughter LOVED her new hairstyle. Then I decided to get my haircut with Carol. With my long hair, I couldn't believe how fast and affordable she is! So then I sent husband to her, and now our whole family gets our hair done by Carol. We love her!

Just got out the chair with Sandro again and he recognized me and said he saw I gave him 4 stars because of what happened last time (which was a happy accident haha). He gave me another stellar haircut today and at the end he asked, "Anything else, man?" And I mentioned, "Yeah, do you mind doing the blade/skin part again?" To which he laughs and says, "you're gonna give me 3 stars now." Quite the opposite, Man. You're getting five because I've never had a skin part and now you're my guy to get it done. 5 stars, man. Plus the shop has always been nice and well kept even when I went here many many many years ago.
