Honestly I had the worst experience I’ve had with a therapist to date. My therapist seemed judgmental, making faces and being shocked by the things I said. I told her my main struggle is financial concerns and being late on bills, then she proceeded to encourage me to “take a risk” and find a better job. Really, take a risk in this economy? She sounded extremely privileged, looking down on me from her high horse, making bank and not understanding what it’s like to starve because you can’t afford it.
