“My mother in-law suffered a debilitating stroke that resulted in her becoming bedridden and physical therapy was unsuccessful. After investigating options that her insurance offered, we decided that home hospice offered the best option for care. Advanced Home Health and Hospice was our provider of choice and that choice proved to be the best. They provided all the necessary supplies and equipment needed for her on-going care including necessary medications, bed, diapers, wipes, creams, and etc. Most importantly, they provided nursing care visits 3 days a week, a chaplain as needed and doctor/nurse consults.

This review would not be complete without noting those excellent care givers: Carol was the primary RN who initially visited 1 day a week and as my mother in-law's condition deteriorated, she committed to 2 and finally to daily visits. Carol was always positive and provided us with many insights that helped us with mom's care. Another RN who was extremely helpful was MaryJo who provided us with very helpful insights for what we could expect as mom neared her transition, which helped our preparation for that event. The other nurse that visited 2 days a week throughout the hospice was Skarlett. Her compassionate care and unyielding patience with mom made her visits a welcome event for mom. Last but not least, the chaplain, Steve, was a significant comfort for us as well as a source of knowledge for much of the administrative, and end of life details we had little or no idea of how to deal with. Mom enjoyed conversations with Steve when she was present. He was an incredible help and extremely compassionate.

“Doctor Steve Lissau is amazing!!!! I called him because all of the late urgent cares were super busy and was about 2-3 hour wait to see a doctor ....we did a tele doctor on the phone and I told him all of my symptoms and sent him some pics of my red eyes with mucus. He said I probably have conjunctivitis in both eyes. He wrote me up a prescription and I was able to get some antibiotics eyedrops. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is very friendly and seems to care a lot for his patients.“
