Heba has created her own yoga style that combines the most spiritual breath work with the most therapeutic body work. This is not just stretching and poses. For example, on Saturday she led us through releasing stuck emotions in our hip flexors and integrating our brains to our body's wisdom by opening the connection in our necks. Pros: lovely vibe at this studio, the energy is so welcoming and loving ❤️ the hands on adjustments are EVERYTHING! Love the personal touches they always call you by name and have lots of personal adjustments and modifications available. Great props. Cool studio filled with plants, and Hibs plays musical instruments and sings sometimes during the end which is magical and truly a energy altering experience. A couple of things to consider is that they do not offer hot yoga, the class schedule is quite limited in both times and days of classes, and the yoga is quite gentle, so if you are looking for something for challenging or workout like this may not be the place,... read full review
I just recently finished out the structural integration 10- series by Ida Rolf, with Heba at Hibs Yoga. I wish I would have done this work earlier. At the initial assessment I was rating my self and health as 3's and 4's, and at the end of the tenth session I was up to 7's and 8's. The biggest thing that kept me from doing this work in the past was everyone said it would be very painful... they were wrong! It was very manageable with breath and working with Heba she talked me through everything and made me feel comfortable and open to receiving the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual work that also comes along with this practice.
