Highway 50, central Nevada, is not where you want to blow a tire. But I did. And was very lucky my spare got me to Big 8 Tire in Ely. Kind, capable guys who know their business. They quickly and efficiently got me back on the road with much needed new tires, that I am very happy with. And, at reasonable price. Even though they knew I was a bit stuck in the middle of nowhere. My son got in a bit of a jam over the weekend with a blown out tire and a LOT of dry rot on the other three. Even though it was after hours when they were supposed to be closed, I found Daniel- the owner and explained the predicament we were in. The tires for my son's car were not really common tires, but Daniel had them in stock and was happy to help me get my son back on the road! He even stayed open long enough to help me get the tires mounted once we retrieved them from the car 50 miles away! Had Daniel not been willing to help- it would have been a really bad night!
