I'm a senior citizen who has had bronchitis. My lung doctor wanted to have me do another scan of my lungs to see if there was any improvement from the last scan. I scheduled an appointment with Great Basin Imaging. I drove on icy roads to get there. Once there I was told my insurance declined the claim. Why didn't they call me and save me the trip? I feel this is poor customer service. I overhead the staff saying they had cancellations due to the poor weather and the corona virus stay at home warning. Apparently my doctor and myself felt it was necessary, enough so that I risked driving there.

They wanted to charge me $333 for a 10 minute consultation. I was quoted a much lower price by a representative before my visit. UPDATE 10-3-18. Fee reduced to $100. When calling any doctor office to schedule an appt please get a price quote in advance, the persons name who gave it, date and time. Especially if you are paying CASH.
