Our family had an incredible day tour of Nahanni National Park guided by Sergei in his floatplane. We landed at Virginia Falls for an interpretive walk with a park ranger, Glacier Lake for skimming stones into the brilliant blue water, and finally Little Doctor Lake for a quick swim in the warm-ish copper water at the end of the day. We flew over many other areas of breathtaking scenery which would rival places like Banff and the Grand Canyon for tourist numbers if this beautiful park weren’t so remote.
