MacKenzie's Towing & Service Centre, located in Truro, is a specialist in brake repair, tune-ups, and oil changes. They provide regular maintenance without voiding your warranty, using high-quality parts backed by a north American guarantee. Their technicians are highly qualified and can perform full diagnoses on all cars and trucks.
One instance of their exceptional service includes assisting a customer whose car had a dead alternator in Upper Onslow. They arrived within 20 minutes of the call and towed the car to Canadian Tire for repair. They even had a debit and credit card machine in the tow truck for the customer's convenience.
Another customer was in a scary situation on a long stretch of country highway without cell service. After a near miss, the car ended up in a deep ditch. The customer, who was traveling with a toddler, asked passersby to call MacKenzie's. Within 30 minutes, a tow truck arrived, and the driver, Jason, handled the situation with care and professionalism. He towed the car and made the situation easier for the customer and their child.
Lastly, MacKenzie's showed care and honesty when they worked to extract a vehicle that had been in an accident. After four hours and the use of two tow trucks, they were able to recover most of the customer's belongings. Additionally, they allowed the customer to enter the facility after hours to collect their mother's ashes, showing great empathy and understanding.
Highly recommend these guys. Being stuck on the busy Transcanada HWY in the dark at night with a blown out tire is a scary experience for anyone. Frank came to our aid quickly, and efficiently getting us towed and home in record time and we had a long way to go. Frank was kind and welcoming which was needed after a stressful experience. Thank You for your help. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!
Just had MacKenzie’s tow my car for me. The driver went above and beyond helping find a safe taxi company to get myself and kids to a safe place until our drive could get to us from CB.
Would recommend them 110% and can’t thank the driver enough!!
After trying 7 different local tow companies and being told they couldn't help, MacKenzie's were immediately willing to take my information and get back to me. It was an overall great experience in a not so good situation and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. Thank you!
