I own a newer Dodge Caravan, have had Andy’s Tire Kingston work on my van a few times and have been relatively happy with the work that was done, until now. They replaced tires, back brakes and rotors. The front brakes and rotors now need to be changed as well, so two weeks ago I stopped in to get a quote and then made an appointment to have the work done. At the time the mechanic took the down the VIN for my vehicle and the quote was based on that. I went in for the appointment this morning and once they took my van apart, they then came and informed me that the front rotors for my van were now $200.00 more expensive than what they quoted previously as my van requires a different rotor than what they quoted. As you can imagine, I was very angry and upset at this and couldn’t understand why this was. I then told them that I was not going to have them do the work and was charged $55.00 for them to put my vehicle back together. I didn’t know they charge a fee for their mistakes. I’ve been in to see another mechanic, got a quote that was significantly less than Andy’s Tire price and have an appointment to have the work done somewhere else. This is very unfortunate for Andy’s Tire as they could have had all of my future car maintenance business, but if this is how they treat a repeat customer I will not be going back there.

Terrible experience with these guys. First, they didn’t use the correct email to contact our warranty company. Then, once my husband took it upon himself to forward the information to the correct email, and the warranty company approved it, someone from Andy’s contacted my husband the next day to say they’re unwilling to do the work (not unable, but unwilling). They’re alleging they’ll lose money by us using our warranty, which makes absolutely no sense. Horrible customer service. Would never go here again, nor recommend it to anyone I know.

Here getting g some new winter tires and rims installed. I always use Andy’s for all my vehicles tires.
Just witnessed a walk-in that was having an issue with a front tire. Even with the shops busy schedule the staff was immediately able to accommodate this customer. When the customer went to pay the bill the friendly staff let them know the service was complimentary.
Outstanding service once again from Andy’s tire in Kingston, NS.
