“What can I say about OJ at HFX Reno - from the moment we met him, I knew this was going to be a good experience. We didn't hesitate at all to take him on for our dream kitchen renovation, and that instinct couldn't have been more right. I had already created a *light* design myself, but OJ took my vision and truly finessed it. He was incredibly respectful of what I wanted while still bringing so much expertise to the table. He is amazing at kitchen design, and I would highly recommend involving him - whether he's refining your ideas or creating a vision for you. His suggestions were thoughtful, practical, and elevated the space in ways I never would have thought of. From the very beginning, OJ was completely transparent - he told us if we expected a quick turnaround, he wasn't the guy for us, because he's a perfectionist and takes the time to make sure everything is done right. And he meant it. He was here every single day and even worked some weekends, all to ensure the end result was flawless. The level of care and attention to detail was unmatched. He was also extremely transparent about any additional costs for extra requests along the way - absolutely no surprises, which was very welcome and comforting. We trusted him completely in our home and in every decision along the way, which made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. Any questions we had - before, during, and after completion - were answered promptly and honestly, even when that meant very lengthy phone calls from me at all hours (and yes, there were plenty, lol). We now (almost) have the kitchen of our dreams. Not through any fault of OJ's - our countertops are delayed through a separate company (sigh). Beyond the workmanship, OJ was professional, reliable, and genuinely a pleasure to have in our home. By the end of the project, OJ honestly felt like family. We were incredibly sad to see him go - especially our dog Charles, who absolutely fell in love with him. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about the work they do and the people they work for, OJ at HFX Reno is it.
