When I lived in Halifax (until 1994) I got my glasses here….my dad _still_ gets his glasses here and the team go the extra mile for his eccentricity without complaint. Full marks, well done.

After my boyfriend accidentally sat on my glasses and bent them quite dramatically, I was extremely worried. As a student without medical coverage and on a tight budget, I feared I would have to go without glasses until I could somehow afford a replacement.
The wonderful staff member who assisted me (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name) kindly offered to repair them free of charge, provided they didn't break during the process. She was incredibly professional, compassionate, and had them fixed in no time.
While waiting, I had the opportunity to browse the store and was genuinely impressed. They carry some of the most unique and stylish designer frames I've ever seen.… read full review

I went here to have my glasses repaired since I can't do things properly especially at school without them. I just needed to replace the screw of my glasses and it only took around 5 minutes here. It was free of charge for the screw replacements. The person who repaired my glasses was very nice. Definitely recommend this place :))
