On December 18, 2025, the Apple Store Halifax Centre permanently lost all of my personal data due to internal handling failures and ignored instructions. I was told my phone’s battery was unsafe and had to be sent to a depot. I clearly stated multiple times that my phone contained critical personal data and that I did not consent to shipping unless it was fully backed up. I was repeatedly assured by staff that a backup would be completed beforehand. A visible label stating “DO NOT SHIP UNTIL BACKED UP” was placed on my device. The women who helped me was so awesome really super great! I thought my laptop was a goner and she fixed it right up and was so kind and helpful as I was in full laptop panic mode. 11/10 will be back if I ever am I need again

Professional team at the AppleCare Center took care of my battery replacement. The drive into the city was worth it once I was there! Battery was replaced in a little more than an hour! Well done folks!
