We moved from Bedford NS to middle of nowhere Quebec mid-May 2026. We had moved frequently via military transfers and the majority of moves utilized North American Van Lines. Since we have always been happy with the great service and care from North American, it was a now brainer to use them again for our own personal move. We contacted Guardian Transfer in Dartmouth. Ryan, from Guardian, dropped by our home and completed an estimate for us. On moving day, Robbie the team lead/driver and his team of professionals worked hard for 7 hours. They carefully covered and loaded all of our stuff. The whole team was friendly and professional.

We planned on meeting and getting quotes from 3 moving companies for our move from Wolfvillle back to ON. When I called about the third, the gent on the line also mentioned he dispatched for another one we had not been considering (North American) so I said sure set that one up too (a 4th quote). The 4th one was Ryan O'hearn from Guardian. After meeting Ryan and talking to him, we found him to be fair, honest, personable, professional, helpful and always ready to answer questions and respond quickly. We recently moved from NS to ON, and hired Guardian for the move. The whole experience was excellent, start to finish. The estimate that Ryan provided was incredibly accurate - our total weight was about 13,000 lbs., and he was only 200 lbs. off! The crews that were hired on both ends were very efficient and friendly. And having mostly unpacked, there has been no significant damage to anything (and anything that we have noticed was our own fault as we did our own packing). Highly recommend this company.
